About Prakruti Mishra
Her father Manmath Mishra is a renowned music director but that is why singing is in her genes. Prakriti has also learned Odissi dance. And she is a girl with lots of talent. She started acting as an actress at the age of just six. Her first film as a child artist was Sabta Maa in the year 2003. Even after this, she also worked in many films and serials as a child artist.
But, it was her role as Smriti in Tulsi, an Odia serial aired on ETV Oriya that brought her into the limelight. She was also part of an Odia Bhajan song by Namita Agarwal, and after that director Sisir Mishra noticed her and gave her Sabta Maa and her first film. She played a double role in Hari Bhai Harena alongside Sunil Kumar and Anu Chowdhary. He acted as a child artist in films like Sata Sure Bandhai Jibana, and then Pagla Karichi Ponji Tora, Sasu Ghar Chalijbi.
She was a part of Kauri Kanya which was the first Odia 3D film. Prakriti also won the Best Child Artist Award at the Odisha State Film Awards in 2005 for her performance in Sasu Ghar Chalajibi. She has also done many commercials as a child artist. She participated in the reality show India’s Best Cinestars Ki Khoj aired on Zee TV and reached the top ten. She played the lead role in Premiya in 2013 opposite Bulu. Prakriti is said to be an emerging leading actress of the Odia film industry. Her next film which is yet to release is Thukul.
