Jayasuriya also started his career as a parody artist and has hosted several television sitcoms aired on Malayalam TV channels. Jayasuriya also received the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 62nd Southern Filmfare Awards for his remarkable performance in Apothecary. And in the year 2016 also Jayasurya was awarded with a Special Jury Award at the 46th Kerala State Filmfare Awards as well as a Special Mention at the 63rd National Filmfare Awards for his incredible performances in films like Luka Chuppi and Su..
