Hemangi Kavi is also a famous artist in the Marathi film industry with her natural acting skills. Hemangi was born on 26 August 1988 and brought up in Kalwa, Thane. And went to a regular 9 to 5 job. But destiny had approved something else. Soon after, she lost interest in his routine and realized that acting was her true vocation. That’s why Hemangi left the job and turned her attention towards acting.

She started her journey with theater plays and made her first screen appearance in the play Shame to Shame. It was only after the success of the play that she got an opportunity to work in the play Many Happy Returns. This play earned him a lot of appreciation and she also got offers for television serials. The actress gained immense popularity with her performance in the series Madam Sasu Dhaddam Sun in MI Marathi. Hemangi’s popularity continued to grow after her performance series Fu Bai Fu. With just two shows, Hemangi Kavi became the most sought after actress in the Marathi industry.

After ruling the small screen with her stellar performances, she made her big screen debut in 2008 with the Marathi film Rangi Berangi. Her next film Dhudghaas released in the same year making it an eventful year. Since then she has been a leading actress and has played commendable roles. Over the years, her filmography has included Mantaliya Manat, Kon Aahe Re Tikade, Paradh, Davpetch, Pangira, Pipani and Dharmantar. Adding another feather to her cap, Hemangi was awarded the Sakalpurti Puraskar in 2010 and the Swami Vivekananda Award in 2011.
